Position Profile: The Child and Adolescent Health Service are seeking experienced and motivated health professionals to join our Medical Imaging team at Perth Children's Hospital.

As a Senior Sonographer, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive Diagnostic Ultrasound services to patients. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing routine and specialised ultrasound examinations and assisting the radiologist with complex scanning techniques and interventional procedures.
  • Interpreting ultrasound images and evaluating the adequacy of the ultrasound examination and the need for further investigation.
  • Providing consultancy and advice to clinical staff on ultrasound images and procedures.
  • Participate in the supervision of Sonography students as required.

To be considered for this role, you must provide evidence of your listing on the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR) as an accredited medical sonographer in the relevant field.
