Reporting directly to the Strategic Sourcing & Operations Director for ANZ, the Commercial Senior Manager of Capital & Factory Services will be responsible for execution of Capital and Factory Services strategies for all Mars Segments in ANZ. Fantastic opportunity to work with our diverse segments and stakeholders across Pet Nutrition, Mars Wrigley, Mars Food Nutrition and Multi sales segments in ANZ.
What are we looking for?
- Significant experience in Sourcing and procurement, specifically in highly matrixed environments with geographically distributed stakeholders.
- Experience in procurement and category management of Capital (building and construction, auxiliaries, sterilization and handling, automation system integration, packaging, dry ingredient handling and process, etc.) and Factory services (energy including renewable energy, capital small minors, MRO and facilities management).
- Demonstrable experience in partnering with global and local teams and the local supplier community to develop best in class energy agreement structures and risk mitigation instruments while working across a range of cutting edge decarbonization technologies for electricity and industrial heat.
- Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant degree.
- Optimizing investments in terms of cost, quality, risk and availability in order to achieve best in class supplier agreements on behalf of Mars across all categories, while ensuring supplier performance and acting as the first point of contact for both suppliers and internal clients.
- Connect and align with other regional associates to implement at the local level relevant Global and Regional sourcing strategies - including by leveraging supplier relationships and strategic partnerships to drive innovation and standardization across regions and segments where feasible.
- Optimizing investments in terms of cost, quality, risk and availability in order to achieve best in class supplier agreements on behalf of Mars.
- Developing an annual execution plan (AEP) for significant spend in category with a documented 3-5 year pipeline that is aligned to the business strategies.
- Although not a line management role, a critical requirement includes the coaching and support of the Capital and Factory Services team of 2 Associates responsible for commercial operations, including category management development, providing feedback for talent development, driving engagement and performance management.
