We are looking for a Senior Speech Pathologist to join our growing allied health team, servicing Brisbane and Surrounds, we offer a flexible working environment within a small and friendly team. We are looking for an experienced Speech Pathologist who lives in Ipswich region (or willing to travel) to assist in servicing our complex caseload within the disabilities sector. Senior Speech Pathologist Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
- Provide clinical expertise on complex cases across the lifespan
- Develop and implement effective treatment programs.
- Establish client understanding, expectations, and goals for treatment.
- Create accurate documentation and reporting for all client visits.
- Delegate duties to support personnel as appropriate.
- Maintain communication with staff and outside agencies
- Provide supervision to team members
- Assist developing student programs
- Work in a culturally safe manner
Highly regarded:
- Interested and experienced with working with complex mental health caseload
- Interested and experienced with working within a multidisciplinary team
- Passionate about equity and access for all, including culturally and linguistically diverse populations including First Nations communities
- Candidates who are happy to travel to Lockyer Valley and Boonah also encouraged
Work Hours & Benefits
Flexible working environment. Complete your administrative work at home and visit clients in the community, home, school or via telehealth.
Have access to regular (Weekly or Fortnightly depend on experience) supervision and a fortnightly MDT case conference.

Senior Speech Pathologist Qualifications / Skills:
- Minimum 2 years experience
- Qualification in Speech Pathology either Bachelor of equivalent
- Membership with Speech Pathology Australia
- Experience or interest with working with First Nations peoples desirable
- Blue Card and Police Check
