About the Role
We are seeking candidates to work with the EA Energy Solutions team in the role of Senior Staff Reservoir Engineer.
This role can be located in Adelaide or Brisbane.
Reporting to the Head of Reservoir Engineering, and seconded to the Team Leader Subsurface - Moomba CCS, this role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced and self-motivated subsurface reservoir simulation engineer to be part of a Santos' low emissions and clean energy growth business.
The role's accountabilities include:

• All tasks undertaken in line with Santos company values, Santos Management System (SMS), EHS and culture requirements.
• Lead integrated full field reservoir model updates for the Moomba CCS project and complete numerical simulation.
• Support subsurface execution of the Moomba CCS project and deliver to agreed timelines with a focus on quality.
• Identify, develop and mature Cooper Basin future CCS growth opportunities - depleted gas and deep saline formations.
• Assist external stakeholder engagement, foster positive and supportive working relationships - regulators, CO2CRC, JV participants.
• Support studies efforts - Adelaide University, CSIRO, other external partnerships and advisors.

About You
The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in engineering and have significant demonstrated CCS experience including pre-Feed through to execution and operation. Further, the candidate should be able to demonstrate a high level of Reservoir Engineering technical capability including compositional reservoir simulation and be able to lead reservoir studies in multi-disciplined teams.
To be successful in this role you will have good written and verbal communication skills coupled with a strong track record of project delivery in a collaborative manner.
