- Foster interdisciplinary education in Internal Medicine at the RBWH.
- Initiate or assist with the establishment of new services relevant to the Department of Internal Medicine and after hours care at the RBWH.
- Participation in the implementation and evaluation of new and existing services.
- Initiate and assist with new research projects in General and Acute Medicine, including after-hours care and medical emergency response.
- Improve the current services that the Department of Internal Medicine and Aged Care, RBWH provides to the local community.
