Access theThe PositionWe are currently looking for a suitably experienced Nephrology Staff Specialist seeking a permanent role in Northern Queensland (Multiple positions available).As a Staff Specialist within this pioneering service, your responsibilities will include:

• Contributing clinically to the organisations management and provision of a comprehensive kidney transplant services, including providing kidney transplant outreach services, education, and training support.
• Assisting with the organisations management and provision of Nephrology services at the University Hospital.
• Providing specialist professional leadership to medical staff within the department, and to be an active contributor to the multidisciplinary patient care team.
• Assist the Clinical Directors of Kidney Transplant and Nephrology to provide quality leadership based on evidence-based practices and by demonstrating and enabling adequate communication to all stakeholders along the patient's continuum of care.

• Specialist Registration (or be eligible to hold) with AHPRA.
• MBBS or equivalent registrable with the Medical Board of Australia.
• FRACP or equivalent.
• Travel: This position may require the incumbent to work at other facilities within the THHS.
• Pre-employment screening, including criminal history and VPD risk role compliance, will be conducted.

The PackageAttractive Relocation PackageGenerous remuneration package value up to $564,048 p.a. comprising:

• Salary range of $204,206 to $258,910 p.a. (L18-L27)
• 4 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading
• 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.
• Attraction and retention incentive allowance (35%-50% base salary)
• Regional and rural attraction allowance (5% base salary)
• Motor vehicle allowance between $21,000 and $25,500 p.a.
• Professional development allowance of $21,500 p.a. + 3.6 weeks p.a. leave
