The TRT Pastoral Group herd is one of the largest privately owned Angus herds in Australia.
The cattle are managed under an intensive rotational grazing system and produce some of the best grass-fed beef in the world. TRT is offering an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join their team as a Senior Station Hand.
The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong desire to learn, show an excellent work ethic and have a passion for the beef industry. A comfortable residence suitable for either a family or individual will be provided and the remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Rotational grazing management
- Low Stress Stock Handling, Livestock processing
- Animal husbandry
- Vehicle and Machinery operation
- Fence and water repairs and maintenance
- General farm maintenance
- Adhere to safe operating procedures
Essential Criteria:
- Previous livestock experience
- Manual Drivers Licence
- Good attitude
- Team player
Desirable Criteria:
- Motorcycle Licence
- Certificate II in Agriculture or Equivalent
