Our client is a market leading Hospitality supply business servicing restaurants, bars, hotels and cafes large and small across NSW with a large, fast paced and high performing CBD store that services their trade customers (chef's, restaurant /cafe owners, interior designers, hoteliers) and the public. This business has a strong history, exceptional industry reputation and relationships and has an incredible values driven culture where their team members are supported, developed and given autonomy in their roles.We are seeking a leader to run this high performing store and team to success. Your key areas of responsibility will include:
- Leading a customer obsessed culture through your team of salespeople and product specialists by being hands on working alongside the team to drive sales
- Managing rostering and wage spend to ensure coverage and profitability
- Managing team performance through effective goal setting, performance reviews and appraisals
- Supporting your inventory team in purchasing, replenishment and inventory control for your store
- Leading a customer support eam to ensure email/phone orders are processed and managed in a timely process
- Troubleshooting and problem solving for your customers - sources additional products as and when needed
- Experience in sales/ customer service/ retail management - or a background as restaurant manager, chef or hospitality professional experience would also be ideal
- Strong business acumen, understanding of P&L, inventory and reporting systems
- HR & people performance skills
