About the role:
We have an exciting full-time role available for a Senior eCommerce Manager to join our team in Sydney. You will be responsible for driving the digital strategy for Glue Store across Ecommerce, CRM, and Digital Marketing. The Senior eCommerce Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and customer retention through owned, earned and paid digital channels. In this role you will be oversee for the overall management and delivery of the Ecommerce channel P&L, including achieving revenue and GP$ targets. Working closely with the marketing team and internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute the overall digital marketing strategy to achieve overall company goals and to remain consistent with brand.
This role will guide, partner, and work closely with the digital team to develop and implement digital strategies and campaigns on time and within budget across CRM and email marketing, performance marketing and via the website to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading the digital team to achieve digital and overall company revenue and GP$ targets.
Acquisition: Build out acquisition strategies that will deliver strong database growth and increase the active customer count
Conversion: Lead the ecommerce team to drive CRO activity and determine site development program to improve on site conversion
Retention: Drive revenue growth and customer retention through a best-in-class CRM program to create engaging customer communications
Ensuring the digital strategies support the strategic plans and company goals
Manage the development agency relationship to ensure consistent delivery of digital projects
Build out the development pipeline for the website to improve the on-site experience and improve CX and UX across the site
Trading the Online business to hit financial targets
Support the Marketing Manager to develop, recommend and execute digital marketing strategies and build upon Glue's digital presence across all business channels.
Working across all levels of the funnel, develop a digital growth strategy and implement new customer engagement and retention initiatives
Collaborate with 3rd party suppliers, including digital agencies and software vendors
Manage the Digital Marketing Agency relationship
Drive the online strategy to deliver the annual sales and GP$ budget
Drive the brand strategy across all digital touchpoints & deliver key initiatives and projects across the website, CRM and digital marketing channels
Build strong working relationships across all areas of the business including marketing, buying, and planning and customer experience team
To be successful you will have:
Demonstrated experience in eCommerce Trade roles
Good understanding of the Glue brand and customer
Sound commercial acumen
A solid understanding of the website platform, it's related systems and processes and ability to identify areas for improvement
Meeting scheduled project deadlines to deliver commercial success
Ability to apply a customer centric approach to all work.
Microsoft Suite competency.
Google Analytics experience (or similar).
Highly organised with a strong attention to detail.
