THE ROLE
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and suitably experienced Senior Strategic Planner to join the team.
Your contribution to future planning will be key in ensuring Moira's planning system remains strategic and ahead of growth and you will be provided with the opportunity and resources to develop and implement the necessary strategies and plans to achieve this.
Reporting to the Manager Planning, you will identify strategic land use planning directions, issues and priorities within the municipality, oversee consultants and lead project teams, whilst providing specialist technical advice.
You will be valued as a natural collaborator with exceptional interpersonal and problem solving skills and the ability to manage projects. You will be someone with excellent communication skills, be flexible and dependable whilst demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement. The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate an aptitude to resolve problems and think critically.
