The role
The team in Canberra is not too big or too small, so this is a rare opportunity to work across a variety of projects as opposed to getting pigeonholed into working on the same type of project day in day out. They have great clients whose projects are as diverse as they are challenging.
Due to growth they are seeking a Senior level Structural Engineer to mentor junior engineers and supervise designers and drafters.
Key responsibilities

• Prepare structural designs for medium and high-rise buildings
• Undertaking components of design suc as steel, precast concrete, post tensioned concrete, masonry and timber
• Plan design packaging and design interfaces
• Produce designs and design documentation
• Manage the verification of the design in accordance with the quality system
• Mentor junior engineers and supervise designers and drafters

The requirements

• A passion for Structural Engineering
• Experienced (7+ years) working in an Australian engineering design consultancy
• Experience using Software packages Inducta, Spacegass and Rapt
• Experience in structural design components
