Responsibilities:
- Design and Analysis: Conduct structural design and analysis for a variety of projects including: mixed use, commercial, residential, government, heritage refurbishment or industrial buildings.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of structural designs into overall project plans.
- Work independently: Ability to work independently, remotely and on-site.
- Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Code Compliance: Ensure designs adhere to Australian building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 years' post graduate work experience with concrete, steel and/or timber structures.
- Professional License: Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) preferred.
- Software Skills: Proficient in structural analysis and design software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, RAM, RAPT).
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to clients and team members.
