Senior System Administrator

Newly created position reporting directly to the ICT Manager, this role is an opportunity to join a high-performing team which is transforming the way that IT supports health and research.

Ideally you will have some of the following skills:

• Have a significant experience supporting in excess of 1000 users spread across diverse locations.
• Value being a part of an innovative high-performing team that strives to exceed expectations.
• Support enterprise class network, storage, virtualisation and hybrid cloud infrastructure.
• Leverage soft skills, software and hardware configuration capabilities and formal IT frameworks.
• Have proven experience delivering special projects over and above BAU activity, including consolidation, complex migrations, cloud adoption and establishing/proving DR capability.
• Experience working within an IT service desk environment, experience in supporting Windows operating systems, preferably Windows 7 and Office 365.
• Experience in Active Directory administration
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Highly self-motivated and directed with the ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills and documentation skills
• Experience in AWS or Azure would be highly regarded.
