The client is an Australian company operating in engineering and construction sectors, offering services to energy, resources, and infrastructure industries. Specialising in designing, constructing, and maintaining various projects within mining, oil and gas, renewable energy, and industrial sectors.
Job Description
Key responsibilities include;

• Oversee the daily operation, administration, and support of the enterprise IT systems.
• Implement IT changes within an ITIL framework to prevent adverse impacts on the business.
• Serve as a primary escalation point for resolving technical issues.
• Maintain current and effective communication with key stakeholders.
• Support and engage with a diverse customer base across office and site-based locations.
• Collaborate and work efficiently with other teams within the broader IT group.

The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate:

• 5+ years of proven experience in a similar role supporting and managing large-scale IT environments.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Azure and PowerShell.
• Strong working experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, VMWare virtualization, and Office 365.
• Sound understanding of data center servers and storage systems.
• Experience with backup software, preferably Commvault.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Happy to work in-office for first 3 months.
