Step into the dynamic world of retail as our Senior System Support Engineer, you will be the backbone of our technological operations, ensuring that our in-store, support centre and DC systems run seamlessly.
Reporting to our Head of Technology you will play an integral role in supporting the Tech team with active directory, cyber management, deployment, and systems support for all team members.
This exciting opportunity will be responsible for:
- Service Operations – maintain directory, build of new SOE’s laptops, deploy software as needed and assist with account creation using active directory
- Maintain a clean active directory and user environment.
- Provide guidance to vendors and partners on implementations in TRS environment
- Maintain your ongoing professional development through attendance in industry knowledge sharing to team members.
- Reduction in common causes of operational problems using your communication skills
- Resolve and manage major incidents and ensure tickets are keep updated in ServiceNow
- Attend partner service meetings and report any issues
- Support the distribution centres with infrastructure requirements and hardware.
- Detail and document installation plans and communicate with stakeholders
- Co-ordinate and implement installations
- Support and guide developers and system administrators to ensure best practice
- Conduct daily health checks to ensure system effectiveness
- Build strong relationships across the IT team to resolve issues and advise on systems availability
About you:
- Relevant IT Qualification
- At least 1 -2 years understanding of CISCO Network infrastructure.
- 3 years’ experience in a systems engineer role
- Excellent knowledge of Windows and o365
- ServiceNow experience preferred
- Operating Environment (SOE) using tools such as Microsoft Window Deployment Services (WDS)
- MS Exchange Admin and tenant management
- Virtual Desktop support (VD Windows365)
- Active Directory
- Remote software
- MS Teams equipment
