We are a group of expert engineers delivering leading network services used by CBA teams to achieve business outcomes. We are responsible for remote access services, proxy services, the entire CBA branch & corporate network environment covering Australia and its international office locations in addition to executing a SDWAN program to enrich the network experiences of CBA employees.
We support our people with the flexibility to balance where work is done with at least half your time each month connecting in office. We also have many other flexible working options available including changing start and finish times, part-time arrangements and job share to name a few. Talk to us about how these arrangements might work for you. We're open to people based in Sydney, Melbourne, or Perth.
This role will also include an on-call requirement rotating on a weekly basis within the team.
We're interested in hearing from people who
Have solid hands -on experience in enterprise level organisations, providing technical consulting and advice to projects to ensure alignment to Cyber Security, Network Architecture, and operational stability
Passionate about technology, innovation and willing to take on challenges
Have substantial hands-on experience configuring and supporting IT infrastructure assets (Network equipment, Servers and Cloud based SaaS) with technology in complex environment
Pride themselves in producing high quality, sustainable solutions meeting business requirements whilst leveraging approved delivery frameworks
Are comfortable leading large scale project delivery, including planning, execution, and closure
Are confident communicators with the ability to influence and guide stakeholders ensuring that the solutions are robust, secure, and highly available
Tech Skills
We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don't expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team;
PALO ALTO Firewalls, and ability to configure security policy and next gen features. PALO PRISMA, PROXY & SASE
Remote Access Solutions including VPN tunnels, User/Machine Authentication and Identification and host posture checks Secure Web Gateway (SWG), Cloud Proxy, Connectors, App policies
Bluecoat / Symantec Proxy
DNS, AD Group Policy and software packaging
TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, Load balancing, Layer1-7 Networking
Supporting end user with Microsoft Defender, McAfee and system management & monitoring tools
DevOps / Cyber security base scripting, workflow integration and CI/CD pipeline orchestration
Fixing user issues, undertaking security assessments & providing recommendations after researching best industry practices for system components and security changes
Standard operating procedure documents, Knowledge management, Problem management & Incident management
