In this role, you'll:

Provide specialist Systems Engineering services to support the design, delivery, operations, maintenance and refurbishment of Tunnel and Motorway management systems managed by Transport for NSW (TfNSW) including, Operation Management and Control Systems (OMCS), Plant Management Control Systems (PMCS), Traffic Management Control Systems (TMCS), Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Fire and Life Safety Control Systems, and associated software and network hardware.

You will ensure that the existing tunnel systems and future planned tunnel systems, provide a safe, reliable and effective contribution to the Road Network.

This is a Fixed-Term contract until June 2025. Onsite work in far north coast (Ballina, Tweed Heads or Windsor, Sydney).

About You

You are a seasoned professional with in-depth expertise in OMCS systems and interfaces standards, design reviews, proficiently managing technical specifications and delivering high-quality reports in complex OMCS and electrical control systems. Your experience spans electrical and electronic systems design, procurement, commissioning, testing, and systems integration, ideally within transport infrastructure.

You bring a proven track record in Project and Contract Management of system design, installation or software and hardware upgrade projects related to OMCS and control networks, with hands-on testing and evaluation skills. Moreover, your knowledge extends to modern traffic management devices and systems, complemented by a solid understanding of traffic management control models and practices.

You are qualified in Engineering from an Australian university or equivalent overseas qualification.
