The Role: Senior Tax Accountant
We are looking for a proactive Senior Tax Accountant ready to bring their energy to our Gild Tax team and amazing clients.

About YOU:
- 4-6 years of relevant experience (desirable if you have worked in Public Practice)
- Strong business acumen with problem solving creativity.
- Excellent communications (both written and verbal) and public speaking skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to understand new issues quickly and make wise decisions.
- Strong relationship building skills.
The GIG:
As Senior Tax Accountant you will manage the end-to-end service offering for a portfolio of clients within our growing team and work with the Partner to look after a client base.
You will be responsible for:
- Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, sole traders, partnership, companies, and trusts.
- Preparation of other Australian compliance requirements like IAS, BAS & FBT and Payroll Tax.
- Preparation of annual tax planning reports.
- Ensure that workpapers are prepared to a high standard.
- Assist in developing and executing key strategies to clients in relation to budgeting & cash flow planning, tax structuring, tax planning and business structuring.
This role requires a proactive, organised, hands-on Accountant who can develop excellent working relationships with staff and clients, to ensure our client engagement is maintained to a high standard. You will be expected to work collaboratively, have strong relationship building skills, and be people-oriented in all of the work you produce.

Location:
This role will be located in Moorabbin, Melbourne VIC. Work from home flexibility is also supported.
Our offices are based in Melbourne (TGG Headquarters), Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Townsville, Philippines and India.
