About the Role
Sitting as part of a specialist team and reporting to one of the Senior Managers in the function, you will be responsible for the delivery of tax compliance and reporting for the company's Australian entities.
Key responsibilities include
- Preparation of income tax accounting and compliance, including semi-annual tax effect accounting and Trust distribution calculations;
- Support the provisioning of both direct and indirect tax for business transactions;
- Review of BAS statements, FBT returns and annual payroll tax reconciliations; and
- Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including outsourced service providers and the ATO.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher in an accounting or business related field;
- CA, CPA or CTA qualified;
- Corporate Tax experience gained in the commercial environment, Big 4 or mid-tier firm; and
- Experience of taxation in relation to trust structures would be highly beneficial.
