Senior Tax Lead

This unique role in a leading financial services firm will allow someone with a broad tax background straddling both tax advisory, tax compliance and reporting, and various tax projects to work in a dynamic organisation, delivering commercial business outcomes and functional optimisation.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership of overall tax capability, including M&A and transaction advice, tax planning, tax compliance and reporting, and transfer pricing.
• Drive optimal tax outcomes for the business.
• Champion the continual uplift of capability and functional optimisation across tax.
• Provision of advice and guidance to new and evolving tax regulations tax regulations locally and internationally.
• Lead, manage, and develop a broad team of tax professionals for their personal growth, and to deliver the best outcomes for the firm.
• Subject matter expertise input into various tax and finance projects.

Experience:

• Proven background operating in a complex tax environment with a diverse array of responsibilities.
• Financial services experience is highly-regarded.
• Strong people leader with an ability to lead from the front, and develop a collaborative team of professionals for the long-term.
• Strong communicator who can excel in a fast-moving environment with competing priorities.
• Ability to deal with internal and external stakeholders and influence strategic outcomes.
