About the role:
In the Tax Consulting Division at Mazars, we work with our clients to provide tax solutions that will help them achieve their objectives. By joining Mazars, you will be a part of one agile, integrated and collaborative team across sectors, services and geographies. You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of clients, from private to large global corporations.
With training and support the role will involve the provisions of high level practical tax advice to companies, trusts and high wealth individuals including the following:

• Structuring of acquisition and sales of businesses and investments
• All areas of corporate taxation, capital gains tax and employment taxes
• Undertaking tax research, analysing and interpreting tax legislation
• Taxation due diligence
• Liaising and negotiating with the ATO on behalf of clients

About you:

• From 3 or more years experience in Tax within an Australian mid tier or large accounting firm and a desire to specialise in written Tax Advice
• Experience in the following ideal but not essential: income tax advice relating to corporate tax, CGT, personal income tax and international tax
• Masters of Law or Tax ideal but not essential
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Willingness to learn
