AddressAs a Senior Tax Manager your role will involve ensuring tax compliance, optimizing tax strategies, and supporting our global operations. You will be encouraged, supported and rewarded for doing what is right for the long-term success of the customer and business.
In your first few weeks in this Senior Tax Manager role, you can expect to:
- Monitor and manage tax compliance across Australia and New Zealand and potentially a few other APAC jurisdictions
- Assist and lead tax audits and inquiries in collaboration with our Regional Head of APAC Tax
- Identify and mitigate tax risks associated with international operations.
- Assist in due diligence and post-acquisition integrations of target M&A activities
- Monitor the tax compliance calendar to meet deadlines.
- Prepare and review accurate tax filings and reports in a timely manner.
- Perform periodic financial reconciliations and review tax accounting
- Provide tax advice to internal stakeholders by providing tax inputs during proposal and contract reviews, proactively monitoring legislative changes, identifying and recommending process improvement strategies.
To apply for this Senior Tax Manager role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, corporate taxes or related field.
- CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Experience in corporate tax compliance management in a multinational corporation or an accounting firm
- Familiarity with Australia and New Zealand tax regulations
- Knowledge of international tax principles, tax treaty interpretation and application to cross border transactions.
- Hands-on experience in an ERP based reporting environment will be an advantage
- MS Office skills and demonstrated ability to manipulate large, complex data sets.
- Strong communication skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a global team.
