How will I help?
As a Senior Team Member Investigations within the Payment Service and Operations team (PSO), you will be responsible for assisting our internal and external customers across a number of customer segments supporting International Payments and Investigations.
You will also be responsible for the investigation of day 2 outstanding items across PSO Businesses and be the central source of information of all International Payments that have been sent or received which require investigation. You will also be taking inbound and outbound calls from both internal and external customers and managing complaints in life with Westpac Group.
This role operates Monday to Friday between 9am to 6pm. The role is currently working hybrid with minimum 2 days in office 3 days' work from home, however this is dependent on business and operational needs.

What do I need?
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Previous international payments and Investigations experience
  • Exceptional customer service skills- experience across banking/ Financial Services
  • The ability to stay calm in complex situations
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal to provide a high standard of phone etiquette and build strong stakeholder relationships
  • Able to take initiate and thrive in challenges
  • Flexible as overtime will be occasionally required
