Form of workOne of our partners and Australian household name brand are on the lookout for a Technical Business Analyst to join their high performing team.
The role is working on various projects, tech resiliency, process improvements, and communication enhancements. It involves taking ownership of specific applications, creating business cases, securing funds, and prioritising work based on operational goals.
You'll be in charge of managing the day-to-day operations, incident resolution, and process improvements. They're looking for strategic thinkers who can lead from the front, take ownership and have the shoulders to manage and bring up their direct reports of which there will be three.
You'll need to be well versed technically and have previously come from a BA, Product Owner or Project Management background with strong commercial business understanding and expertise in operational management.
Day-to-Day
- Own the product end to end across a host of applications
- Drafting business cases
- Secure sponsorships, funds and prioritise these based on the commercial goals
- Stakeholder management C-Suite level
- Collaborate and get involved in leading project work related to the business stakeholder areas
- Regulatory and compliance activities from Group Audit and the Cyber security team
Core Skills
- Strong stakeholders management and communications skills, project management skills, vendor management, ability to prioritise and apply strategic/tactical lenses as needed, autonomy and ability to delegate to/manage/coach more junior team members
- Proven ability to apply analytical and critical thinking skills to solve, or lead the solving of strategic problems of high complexity on a large scale
- 5 years min experience in a technical role, with project delivery experience
- Strong commercial and business acumen
- Solid experience in operational service management
