Job Overview
As a Senior Technical Claims Specialist / Quality Assurance Specialist you will be responsible for managing a small portfolio of high value and complex business pack claims. You will be a technical mentor for the team through leadership, coaching, goal setting and feedback.
You will also be responsible for the implementation and management of the claims quality assurance framework. You will manage insights, trends and reporting and ensure the team receive mentoring to deliver exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Manage and implement Claims Quality Assurance through claims audits, trends and reporting
- Manage a portfolio of major and/or complex claims across business pack, property and liability
- Review for continuous improvement across claims and quality assurance
- Provide technical support and feedback to the claims team and assist with coaching and training of team members
- Stay updated across regulatory changes and industry themes and insights
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5 years claims experience within General Insurance, specifically property claims and liability understanding
- Experience across claims assurance frameworks, processes and reporting
- Proactive collaborator with the ability to mentor, coach and train claims consultants
- Ability to work well autonomously as well as part of a team environment
- Proven ability to manage complaints and disputed claims when required
