We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Support Engineer,(level 2/3), who can provide first point of escalation for the Service Desk team for both Incidents and requests. Further you will:
- Provide escalated support services as part of the reliable delivery of the technology systems which underpin IOR’s business operations
- Coach and upskill the Level 1 Engineer
- Provide day-to-day ICT support to minimize system down time and loss of productivity, with a security-first approach
- Respond to enquiries from various sources in a responsive, customer focused manner, and ensure that accurate, targeted and timely information supplied effectively resolves the customer query
- Design and support deployment activities for computers, printers, tablets, phones and other ICT equipment
- Maintain accurate records in relation to Incident, Request, Change and Problem management
- Participate in on-call activities and follow escalation process to provide 24/7 emergency support
- Identify, raise and document problems and aim to implement suitable workaround or resolutions or escalate as required
Skills and experience
- Experience in a similar role, coupled with relevant tertiary qualifications or industry certifications
- Ability to balance competing demands to support the customer
- Strong technical knowledge in Windows environments and networks
- Excellent customer service and time-management skills
- Experience in Back-ups, Microsoft Entra, M365 and Intune
