About the job Senior Technology Applications PM
Our client is looking for a Senior Project Manager to be responsible for planning, overseeing and leading projects from ideation through to completion. This role requires interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders, most often managing several moving project parts simultaneously. This is initially a 6-month contract role, with a likely extension(s) and is located in Tullamarine, VIC.
The successful candidate will be upgrading the AODB (Airport Operations Database) including interfaces. This system (Veovo Airport 2020) is the core to the airport operations management system, and the system integrates into other systems. Whilst exposure to the technology and/or airport experience is beneficial, it is not a mandatory requirement.
You will need to: * if no airport experience, have extensive experience delivery core business applications and dealing with challenging stakeholders in a complex environment.
- liaise with many different stakeholders (Airport, Airline staff, baggage handlers, etc) and it will be beneficial if you have some experience in the airport environment but not essential.
- have a strong background in delivering core applications and dealing with challenging stakeholders in a challenging environment.

- The requisite skill and experience defined below,
- At least Australian Permanent Residence working rights,
- At least 5+ year's relevant local working experience in the Project management field.
- Project Management qualifications mandatory (Prince2, PMBOK, PMP, AIPM or CPPP)
- 5+ year's experience of IT Project Management within complex organisations (Tier 1 or 2).
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and be able to work with a varied number and type of stakeholders from across the business.
- Experience in managing vendors as part of the project's delivery.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised, able to prioritise work and run multiple projects simultaneously while working autonomously or collaboratively.
- Leadership skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Conflict resolution skills.
- A quality control mindset.
- Report on the initiative progress within program of work against delivery, quality, cost, and time commitments.
- Implement, monitor, and report on project activities including milestone delivery, resource allocation, issue management, risk management and mitigation.
- Consolidating the team's initiatives and reporting progress to key stakeholders.
