Our client is a Registered Training organisation (RTO), that offers high quality Civil Construction training. By harnessing the latest technology, they deliver training to maximise value for their trainees while minimising any disruption to employers productivity.
The Role
As a Trainer and Assessor, you will deliver the RII30820 - Cert II Civil Construction Plant Operations. The ideal candidate will also be able to deliver either of the following:
RII30920 - Cert III Civil Construction (Streams in Road Construction and maintenance, Pipe Laying, Bridge construction & Maintenance)
RII40720 - Cert IV Civil Construction Supervision
This role will be a full time permanent position and requires you to conduct work place based training within the ACT with work from home for administration duties.
Key Responsibilities
Training and assessment
Recording and resulting assessment
Following up outstanding assessment
Providing support and guidance for learners
Ensure all materials, assessment plans, assessment tools are current, sufficient, valid and reliable
Ensure that assessments meet the requirements of the endorsed components of Training Packages and the outcomes specified in accredited courses within the scope of registration
Ensure that assessments, regardless of whether through a training and assessment pathway or an assessment only pathways comply with relevant standards and requirements at all times
Ensure that high quality training and assessment standards are maintained at all times
Promote training courses throughout the community through individual contact and other means
The ideal candidate will have:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110 OR TAE40116) or higher,
- RII30820 - Cert II Civil Construction Plant Operation of higher
- Well organised, self-motivated and tech-savvy individual
- Industry experience and knowledge in your field
- Previous VET Sector / RTO experience
