Senior Transmission Detailer

We believe our ability to move with the market and embrace new technologies comes down to the strength of our teams.About the roleBased in Sydney, NSW, this opportunity will see you join our multi-disciplined, in-house engineering team to work on an upcoming major HV Transmission Line project.Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Review Client drafting specifications and standards;
• To prepare engineering documentation as directed;
• To work with design/project teams to produce drawings and models for tenders and projects;
• 3D and associated 2D detailing of transmission towers and other structural elements;
• To check drawings/3D Models prepared by the other draftspersons;
• Ensure compliance with project BIM execution standards, processes and procedures;
• Maintain BIM Templates to support BIM standards, processes and procedures; and
• Technical support throughout construction activities as required.

• Relevant engineering tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience;
• Previous structural detailing experience of Transmission Line Steel Tower & Poles using BoCAD 3D software;
• Experience working in a project coordination role for CAD/BIM applications;
• Knowledge of the software applications Tekla, Bocad Autodesk, Bentley V8i, AutoCAD, Document Management Systems;
• Proven commercial acumen; and
• Ability to collaborate as part of a supportive high-performing team.
