Senior Transport Engineer

Seeking a Senior Traffic / Transport Engineer to join a Council on an initial 3 month contract.

Aspect Personnel are working with a council in Melbourne to recruit a Senior Transport Engineer for an initial 3 month contract role with the possibility of extension.
Hybrid working arrangement available.

Employed as a Senior Transport Engineer; you will be responsible for:

• Reviewing, assessing and developing traffic management plans
• Conduct parking studies
• Managing transport projects
• Stakeholder engagement/management
• Supporting junior traffic Engineers

As the ideal candidate you will have/be:

• A degree in Civil Engineering, or relevant qualifications/experience
• A Senior Traffic / Transport Engineer, ideally with experience in Victorian Local Government
• Previous experience reviewing TMPs
• Demonstrated ability to conduct traffic investigations/studies
• A solid understanding of traffic engineering principles and practices
• Experience managing traffic/transport projects
• A commitment to providing a high level of customer service
• A current drivers license
