About the role
We are currently seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst as part of the Treasury team based in our Sydney head office. Reporting to the Treasurer this role offers the opportunity to gain broad treasury experience and offers great career prospects within a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.
Key responsibilities
- Managing cash flow forecasting, daily funding and bank administration
- Ad hoc projects and financial analysis
- Process improvement and process documentation across key Treasury activities
- Assist with the management of risk exposures
- Assist with the preparation of routine and ad hoc treasury reporting
- Ongoing management and issuance of surety bonding and guarantees
- Monitor and maintenance of bank accounts, balances, resolving any outstanding banking issues
- Working with the Treasurer on the continual development of our Treasury function
About you
- Tertiary qualification in finance, commerce, economics or a related discipline with CA or CPA preferred
- 1-5 years of treasury or corporate finance experience
- Excellent communication, analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Strong numerical and modelling skills with good attention to detail
- Ability to manage and deliver multiple assignments of varying priorities and difficulty, and work effectively under tight deadlines and pressure
- Demonstrated experience across treasury related disciplines such as financial analysis, cash and liquidity management, financial risk management, transactional banking, treasury management systems, and treasury operational controls
