Wimmera Truck Centre is owned by the CMV Group who commenced operations in 1934. The 4th generation family business operates heavy vehicle dealerships in both Victoria and South Australia. Today employing more than 1,700 staff, the CMV Group has an enviable reputation within the industry, both as a supplier and employer of choice.
The newly rebranded, Wimmera Truck Centre will service the important freight route between Melbourne, Mt Gambier and Adelaide offering repair, service and parts.
About the role
Due to business demands, we are needing to expand our service team further! We are seeking a qualified and highly motivated Heavy Diesel Technician. This is an opportunity to support daily workshop operations while working on premium brands such as Kenworth, DAF & Hino.
About you
You will be a person who is passionate about the truck industry and has used their highly developed skills to provide an outstanding standard of work. You would be responsible for:
- Providing prompt and accurate service and repair of vehicles to meet customers’ needs
- Maintaining our commitment to Safety
- Supporting daily workshop and breakdown operations
Skills & Experience
- Qualified Heavy Vehicle Technician is essential
- Excellent Team Player
- Excellent communication skills
- The desire to work in a team environment
- Valid truck driver’s licence (preferred)
