Senior / Unit Pricing Specialist

This is a great opportunity for a career orientated market professional to join a leading tier one financial services organisation as a Senior / Unit Pricing Specialist.
  
Combining a brilliant culture and very intelligent colleagues, our client is keen to meet with individuals who have had at least three to five year's market experience in Unit Pricing / Fund Accounting.  
 
Main responsibilities are but not limited to:
 
     •  Analyse and verify daily asset movements including Unit Pricing review

• Resolution of all Unit Pricing, valuation, accounting, and back-office related issues
• Ensure daily deliverables are met in line with SLAs
• Assist in the implementation of new funds and or transitions
• Ensure the Unit Pricing function meets governance requirements
• Provide a first point of contact for internal stakeholders while supporting the Team Manager in BAU tasks
• Ensure Management reporting data is complete and accurate 

  

Technical/Specialist skills/competencies
  
     •  Tertiary degree, ideally in Accounting, Commerce or Finance.

• CA/CPA qualification/part qualification highly regarded.
• 3+ years’ experience as a Senior Unit Pricing Analyst.
• Thorough understanding of valuation/pricing methodologies for instruments such Fixed Income, Equities and Derivatives.
• Experience in fund accounting, investment operations and Unit Pricing activities.
• A thorough understanding of investments and superannuation.
