We are seeking to recruit a Senior Urban Planner who:
- Is keen to learn and grow professionally within a supportive, team‑focused environment.
- Possesses tertiary qualifications in urban and regional planning and has a sound knowledge of the Western Australian planning framework and development processes.
- Has over 6 years’ experience working as a planner in Western Australia, with a preference for Government experience.
- Is ready to embrace opportunities for challenge with a desire to achieving quality outcomes.
- Has good interpersonal and verbal communication skills and who values building respectful relationships, both internal and external to CLE.
- Has experience in dealing with all areas of urban planning including scheme amendments, structure planning and subdivision applications.
- Has good proficiency in the assessment of built form development applications.
- Has strong report-writing skills and can articulate complex planning matters in writing.
Dependent on skills and experience, a competitive salary package and flexible working arrangements will be offered to the successful candidate, including the opportunity for pro-rata remuneration / work schedule if desired.
