The Opportunity
Come and discover the opportunity to join our Processing and Logistics team at our Port Kembla Manufacturing facility as a Senior Warehouse Planner. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.
This opportunity is an 18 month secondment position working Monday to Friday will oversee the site while leading a skilled team who collectively look after the day to day inventory management and planning processes for two of our busy sites. You will collaborate across the business and ensure our beam and coil products are readily available for dispatch via road or rail to our customers.

What Will You Do?
Working in this unique and fast-paced role, you’ll be developing warehouse and logistics solutions to ensure our customer experience expectations are met whilst cost and operational efficiencies are achieved. The role will see you:
- leading and supervising our warehousing area including inventory management, product planning and scheduling, machine operation and maintenance
- growing and mentoring your team to develop their technical capability
- supporting and assisting your team with daily operations
- identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, performance and mitigate risk - striving for on time delivery for our customers
- ensuring safety standards are continuously evolving, championing change when risks and opportunities are identified
- generate reports to effectively monitor warehouse performance and identify any opportunities for improvement
