About the role
As the Senior Web Developer you will be accountable under broad direction for the delivery of improvements to web applications, employing an Agile software development methodology.
You will be required to design, develop, integrate, test, and support software applications for embedded systems, and have demonstrated experience in translating customer requirements into fit-for-purpose design and end-product artefacts.
Essential Technical Criteria
- Demonstrated experience with front-end JavaScript web development frameworks such as React and client side technologies such as HTML, JavaScript and CSS.
- Experience with back-end architectural styles such as REST.
- Proficient with Python3, Linux systems administration, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tooling and practices.
- Proficient with collaboration tools, such as Git for issue tracking.
Other Essential Criteria
- Strong stakeholder engagement with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and stakeholder groups.
- Ability to perform software development activities surrounding the improvement of existing and development of new web applications for embedded systems.
- Experience working with team/industry best practices in relation to technology choices, architectural styles and design patterns.
- Prior experience working within an Agile team.
