Hubert Estate is a new hospitality venue, sitting on one of the oldest properties in the Yarra Valley. We opened the doors 2 years ago to a 300-guest restaurant, 200-guest event space, 150-guest cellar door, art gallery, and a large outdoor amphitheatre, surrounded by vineyards. Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced event coordinator, to assist the Venue Manager with the execution of weddings and functions. We hope to find someone who will play a pivotal role in ensuring high standards in services and venue operations, in accordance with expectations set by sales team and clients.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- On-the-day coordination of weddings and functions as per the event order
- Lead food & beverage service as well as bump ins, formalities and bump outs
- Ensure a high level of customer service with staff training and supervision
- Build strong relationships with clients and external wedding suppliers
- Event reporting and weekly management meetings
- Assist the Venue Manager with administration tasks
Skills:
- Strong understanding of wedding and event operations
- Excellent organisation, planning and time management skills
- Proactive thinker with great problem solving skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work within a team environment
