VPS5 Senior Workforce Planning Analyst - Ongoing/ Full Time 

The Department leads the delivery of education and development services to children, young people and adults both directly through government schools and indirectly through the regulation and funding of early childhood services, non-government schools and training programs.

Located in the Organisational Development unit of the People Strategy & Operations division. Contribute to the progress of organisational development strategies to meet OD commitments in the Department's People Strategy Operations - Plan on a PAGE 2023-25.

Multiple roles are open, reporting to Organisational Development and Strategic Workforce Planning Managers. We're forming a dynamic, motivated team to foster a culture of continuous learning, utilizing diverse talents. Your skills in performance management, leadership development, learning, project management, employee engagement, induction, and interpreting organizational data are key. We prioritize an inclusive workforce, valuing improvement, and customer-centric service. Your strong interpersonal skills will build partnerships, using HR expertise and data insights to enhance organizational capability.

This role, reporting to the Manager of Strategic Workforce Planning, leads initiatives in analysing and reporting workforce data, whilst meeting stakeholder needs. Success requires managing multiple projects, understanding diverse datasets, and employing strong technical skills for reporting complex data. Proficiency in descriptive statistics and data visualization is crucial. The role emphasizes proactive collaboration with stakeholders and staff across all levels, aligning data and reporting with strategic goals. The ideal candidate is technically skilled, intellectually curious, and embraces innovative ideas, demonstrating enthusiasm for data and data science.

We have a minimum of 3 days in the office located adjacent Treasury Gardens in East Melbourne.
