We’re looking for an SEO specialist to oversee search activity across our three sites; WhistleOut, Reviews.org Australia and Safewise Australia. We've been at it for over ten years and our sites have a strong SEO foundation.
The role of the SEO Specialist is to keep us at the top of the SERPs, identify new growth opportunities and keep our team up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and best practices.

Are you looking to escape the agency grind? This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level SEO to take the reigns and be our in-house expert.
The ideal candidate is an online Sherlock Holmes. You’ll have a curious mind, a love of experimentation, and a performance-driven mindset. Most importantly, you know there are no right answers in SEO, only assumptions and experiments.
The SEO specialist will:
- Develop growth strategies to acquire organic traffic across our business.
- Monitor and report on organic traffic performance to the broader team.
- Collaborate across departments to implement site optimisations.
- Stay up to date with the latest SEO developments.
- Train our publishing team as SEO practices evolve and algorithms change.
Our preferred candidate is:
- Experienced in developing SEO strategies and implementing optimisations.
- Proficient in a range of SEO and digital marketing tools (SEMRush, ahrefs, Google Analytics, Search Console, Rank Ranger, ScreamingFrog).
- Adaptable and ready to shift strategy as circumstances change.
- Analytical and relies on data to make decisions.
- A strong communicator who enjoys sharing their SEO expertise.
- Happy to dive in and optimise on-page elements as necessary.

A bit more about our company
WhistleOut launched in Sydney in 2008 and has since expanded internationally with offices in the US, Canada, and Mexico. It is owned by Clearlink, an award-winning digital marketing and sales company based in Salt Lake City in the US. This offers our team the best of both worlds; a small, agile start-up vibe backed by a global listed company. Our office is in Crows Nest in Sydney and, while we predominantly work from home, we will only be considering candidates from the Sydney area for this role to enable regular face-to-face meetings with our Sydney based team.
