So, what’s the brief?

We’re so glad you asked! We are currently on the hunt for a resident SEO Strategist who will showcase their analytical (logical side) and marketing (creative side) skills on the daily! These skills will play a key role in helping you implement SEO strategies to improve our client’s online visibility, rankings, leads, sales and overall digital strategy. As a result, you’ll be helping grow our clients’ business - how exciting!

Our Head of SEO will guide you through the role and you’ll also have the support of our amazing SEO team to answer any of those burning questions. Working alongside this vibrant bunch, you will spend your time prepping reports, completing keyword research, onboarding new clients, creating blogs or website service pages, identifying quality backlinks, creating or managing Google Business Profiles, and a whole lot more!

Okay, let’s set the scene:

08:00 Kickstarting the day with your drink of choice, you arrive ready to take on the world!

08:15 Energised, you meet with our Head of SEO to provide an update on the status of the current campaigns and chat through some strategic ideas you’ve had for optimisation and growth.

09:00 Next up - content creation! You spend some time working on a blog post or two for one of our amazing clients, letting those creative juices flow.

10:30 Client page optimisation is next on today’s agenda, so you review their keyword strategy, making any necessary changes for improvement.

11:30 In the spirit of client page optimisation, you run some competitor analysis to provide opportunities for even better ranking! YAY!

12:00 Lunch-time! The team huddle at the kitchen bench, catch up on the day and share their wins and news from the weekend! (You can be sure to find a food review or restaurant recommendation here too).

13:00 Continuing on with your day, you prepare ahead of the upcoming client strategy session this afternoon.

14:00 All set, you head into your client strategy session and run through their vision, your ideas and how you can help their dreams become reality!

15:30 Time to jump into some more optimisations - this time it’s for a client's Google Business Profile and enhance their online presence.

16:30 A quick client check-in via Loom before the end of day to give them an update on their very successful campaign.

17:00 What a busy yet fulfilling day! Time to knock off and pat yourself on the shoulder for another productive day in the office!

Super-duper important:

We’re not looking for Einstein, however, we do need someone who:

• Has a knack for sourcing, organising and interpreting information to problem solve.
• Is a quick learner with a passion to grow.
• Ability to create new strategies across a wide range of industries.
• Ability to audit existing strategies and develop modifications to further progress matured campaigns.
• Positive attitude and fun personality (hint: if you love food, coffee or pups you’ll be just fine).
• Passionate about digital marketing and making a difference for our clients!

What we’d LOVE but isn’t essential:

• Experience with SEO management software platforms such as Semrush, MOZ, Google Keyword Planner, etc. (But if you don’t and you’re a fast learner who loves Youtube tutorials you’ll be fine.)
• Familiarity with various analytics and conversion rate optimisation platforms such as Google Analytics, HotJar, etc.
• At least 1-2 years agency experience.
