At Okay, we are on a mission to spread hope through art and code.
We’re looking for an experienced Social Media Strategist to help establish and grow channels and content for our emerging brands.
The Okay brand includes four main sub-brands, each with channels on Instagram, X/Twitter and one with TikTok.
Your role is to coordinate with our existing marketing, design, illustration and animation teams to ensure content for each channel is proactively managed and aligned with the mission for each. This includes strong awareness of the audience, and directly engaging with replies, DMs with an understanding of the tone for each sub-brand.
Your first task will be to lead the go-to-market strategy for the launch of our experimental apparel line, created for the everyday hero.
We expect you to lead and report on data-driven growth and proactively suggest content ideas that benefit from with trends for each platform. Performance is measured on growth and clear results in building genuine followers.
The preferred candidate will have experience with fashion brands, entertainment and web3 brands. Your meme game should be strong. We’re huge fans of the wit showcased in Wendy’s Twitter account. You’ll be working with world-class talent and a variety of stakeholders including external agencies, influencers, and an existing community of more than 1000 people. You’ll need strong English language and exceptional communication skills.
Your working location can be anywhere, but must be willing to work a range of flexible hours across timezones, which is often outside of traditional 9-5pm hours.
