Initially part-time, this role offers the potential to transition to full-time for the right candidate. Collaborate with our Creative Director to build our social portfolio and pave the way for future promotion opportunities to lead our social division.

Are you a dynamic and innovative Social Media Strategist with a flair for creating compelling content and driving engagement across various platforms? Do you possess videography, photography, editing and content creation skills along with a strategic mindset and client-facing experience? If you're ready to tackle a versatile role, encompassing everything from campaign conceptualisation to client education, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategy Development and Execution: Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive Social Media strategies across platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, ensuring content resonates with target audiences and drives results.
• Content Creation: Utilize your videography, photography and editing skills to produce high-quality content, ensuring alignment with brand identity and strategic goals. 
• Confident On-Camera Presence: Represent Sun Media on social channels, hosting educational pieces, Q&A sessions and walk throughs
• Creative Direction: Develop creative concepts and scripts for shoots, providing clear direction to bring visions to life effectively.
• Client-Facing Role: Act as the primary contact for clients in the Social Media space, offering strategic guidance and showcasing the impact of Social Media on brand communications.
• Advanced Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
• Content Planning: Develop detailed content plans, ensuring alignment with marketing goals and objectives.
• Client Onboarding and Management: Lead the onboarding process for new Social Media campaigns, ensuring timely execution and client satisfaction.
• Continuous Learning and Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends, driving ongoing optimization of Social Media strategies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• 2+ years of professional content curation and Social Media marketing experience, with at least 2 years working in a marketing agency managing multiple Social Media accounts.
• Proven track record of growing and retaining social audiences, with expertise in creative copywriting and content pillar creation.
• Proven track record in content management for B2B and B2C audiences
• Excellent knowledge of content marketing funnel strategy and implementation
• Excellent organisation skills and file management 
• Excellent knowledge of Social Media tools, including Meta Business Suite, Ads Manager, GA4, Sprout Social, CapCut and Canva
• Excellent knowledge of the Adobe suite 
• Strong videography and photography skills, experience with cameras, lighting, microphones and experience in talent management and shoot coordination.
• Familiarity with SEO, email marketing, and content strategy.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
