About the Role:
Collaborating with the renowned John Deere lineup of Agricultural Machinery, your role will involve serving as the key liaison between the Hutcheon and Pearce branch and our customers for maintenance and repairs of machinery and equipment. We are seeking an individual with a strong dedication to customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the communication between service personnel and the administration of the service department
- Ensure customers are kept up to date on the progress of their jobs
- Opens work orders as directed by the Service Manager/Workshop Foreman and maintains control until they are closed and invoiced
- Maintain accurate department record keeping
- Update customer profiles using equipment, hours, or other information from the customer work orders
- Assist in facilitating apprentice work experience and communicates weekly department timesheets to payroll
- Prepare quotations for service repair jobs
- Assist with booking in customer jobs for the Service Manager and Field Coordinator
- Prepare warranty and/or product improvement claims including the computation of charges, submission and follow-up with the Group Warranty Department
- Process invoices, timecard data entry and additional ad hoc duties as required
As the successful applicant you will have:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Good organisational, administrative and time management skills
- Computer systems savvy including Microsoft Suite and DMS (Dealer Management System)
- An energetic and can-do approach to your work
