Service and Sales Coordinator

VDI Australia Group of Companies have been the sole national distributor for Yutong buses since 2018, specialising in distributing Yutong buses and luxury coaches to a wide range of businesses and industries across Australia. Despite rapid growth during this period, we remain an Australian owned and family operated with branches now located in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, and Cairns.

WA Bus and EV Solutions have been operating in Belmont for just over 12 months and are experiencing growth in our business month on month. Due to our growth, we have a newly created role for a Service and Sales Coordinator. As the newest member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of the Service and Sales processes within the Western Australia region for Yutong Bus Centre WA. You will be primarily responsible for providing support to the sales and service team, liaising with our clients and delivering exceptional customer and after-sales services.

Some of your duties will be -

• Maintain records and documentation related to servicing, vehicle builds, vehicle repairs, vehicle registrations and contractor agreements.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines effectively.
• Act as a liaison between the dealership and external contractors, such as maintenance service providers, transport companies, and suppliers.
• Assist the sales team in managing vehicle sales processes, including vehicle inquiries, test drives, negotiations, and finalizing sales transactions.
• Effectively manage vehicle registrations and contractor relationships, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the dealership operations.
• Coordinate with relevant government agencies, such as the Department of Transport, to obtain necessary permits, registrations, and license plates.

We are looking for someone who -

• Has experience with Service and warranty procedures – would be great but not essential,
• Wants to join an exciting organisation, filled with highly dedicated people,
• Has experience using Pentana systems in the automotive or a similar industry sector,
• Is goal and target driven, with a keen sense of urgency,
• Has exceptional people and customer service skills,
• Has excellent time management, organisational and communication skills,
• Can work autonomously and methodically as part of a larger team with a positive approach,
• Possesses a high attention to detail and the ability to adhere to systems,
• Has the capacity to build & maintain good working relationships with staff and managers across the VDI network,
• Has an excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
