RKM Roller Company is a leading manufacturer of innovative engineered conveyor rollers, idlers, and structure, with in house design and site support servicing the mining resources and bulk material handling industries, throughout Australia and Internationally. We have a world class manufacturing facility in China and have a new manufacturing facility in Maddington, Perth. We have a broad customer base in the mining and grain handling industry.
The Opportunity
This is a good opportunity to be involved in multi-disciplined Sales Engineering role.
Perth based in Maddington; key responsibilities include:
- Identify sales opportunities within our Market and make regular contact.
- Visit customer sites for technical site support.
- Work with Engineering to Provide cost effective solutions to potential clients
- Prepare information for factory RFQ’s and Sales Quotes.
- Maintain sales Registers for the Business
- Establish factory manufacturing control documents and information from/to clients/projects
- Work with Engineering and the factory to project manage large orders that involve ITP’S MDR’S and Delivery time frames.
Skills and experience
- A diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Understanding of Conveyor Design Mechanics
- Experience in Conveyor Material Handling will be highly regarded
- Experience working with major mining companies will be highly regarded
- Experience in sales/project management
- Travel to sites required occasionally; International travel required occasionally
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills
- Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office.
