Our team has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated, enthusiastic and experienced Service Delivery Manager.
The Service Delivery Manager will monitor the performance of the various elements of branch operations, including:
- Scheduling
- Fleet
- Safety
- Supervision
- Engagement/Performance Management
- Administration
More specifically, the Service Delivery Manager will be accountable for the consistent achievement of specified commercial, safety and operational KPI’s and targets.
Duties
- Promote a strong safety culture and champion the Altus Life Saving Rules
- Hold workers to account for behaviours and champion the Altus Code of Conduct
- Provide clear direction to team members in relation to the targets and objectives that apply to their roles and how they should be achieved
- Present as a leader who is always approachable and accessible to staff and other stakeholders
- Prioritise Leadership Walks as a means for ensuring visibility and accessibility with field-based employees
- Day to day management of the branch management team (Supervisors, planners, schedulers, Administrators, Fleet)
- Facilitate and deliver Depot Toolbox Meetings at specified intervals
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services
- Conduct performance management meetings in conjunction with Staff Engagement personnel
- Participate in branch safety and systems audits at specified intervals
- Maintain oversight of daily service provision to ensure appropriate resourcing of labour, vehicles, equipment, plans and approvals
- Monitor worksite inspections to identify emerging risk, non-compliance trends and potential training needs
- Oversee and take accountability for the completion of incident and inspection actions for the wider operational team
- Understand and apply health and safety obligations as defined in legislation, relevant Codes and industry best practice documentation
- Promote a work environment that is healthy and safe
- Encourage others to participate in the development and implementation of safe work practices
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in Traffic control or a similar (blue collar) industry
- Demonstrated managerial/leadership experience
- Prior experience in a workplace where health and safety has been a key operational focus
- Have a demonstrated aptitude for keeping a wide variety of tasks on stream and the ability to deliver against multiple timeframes
- Have a strong background and commitment to customer service and be able to build and maintain enduring business partnerships
