About the role
As Service Delivery Officer, you will be part of the ICT Service Delivery team and play a vital role in enabling the delivery of technology services including service management, incident and change management, continual service improvement and customer satisfaction. You will work across various levels and stakeholder groups within council ensuring a high standard of customer service, customer relationships and team performance to meet business operations.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Resolve client IT requests
- Apply creative and technical problem solving skills to ensure accessible software and resources
- Customer service and collaboration in the delivery of technology services
- Investigation and diagnosis of incidents, coordinating IT repairs and issue resolution
- Contribute to continuous improvement of service desk systems, processes, policies and procedures

About you
To be successful in this role you will be a problem solver with excellent customer service skills along with:
- Possession of graduate or post-graduate qualifications in Information Technology related discipline, ICT certifications or substantial experience
- Sound knowledge, understanding and experience in ITIL principles, service level agreements and applications management
- Exceptional communication, engagement and negotiation skills with the ability to remain calm and composed in any circumstance
- Substantial skill in rapidly assimilating information about the council’s culture, structure, systems and processes
- An excellent fit with our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency, and leadership

This is a full time permanent position, Level 5 with a salary commencing at $93,169 plus superannuation of up to 12.5%.
