About the Role
The Service Delivery Officer supports the Service Coordinators tailoring supports to match the Participants and family/carers needs in alignment with their NDIS plan and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring procedures, policies and standards for medical, nursing, allied health and administrative staff
- Controlling selection, training and supervision of support staff
- Drive a performance-based culture focusing on engagement to achieve results.
- Support a supportive and respectful community-centric environment
across the portfolio of sites incorporating the interests of families,
guardians and other key customer representatives. - Support a well-balanced team culture, embracing and respecting the
need to deliver high-quality and commercially viable human services. - Ensure team members are fully aware of individual customer requirements.
- Managing the development and maintenance of support care plans.
- Managing the Short-term accommodation (STA), Medium term accommodation (MTA) and Supported Independent Living (SIL)
Skills and Knowledge
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the National Standards Disability Services and Quality & Safeguarding Framework or the ability to develop
- Basic understanding of corporate governance principles, risk management concepts, compliance requirements and concepts
- Demonstrated experience in coaching individuals and delivering
training, preferably those with disability and individuals that may present with behaviors of harm to achieve set outcomes and desired
behaviors within the workplace. - A friendly, positive and professional attitude in dealing with clients and staff, including excellent verbal/written communication and customer service skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Careflo software.
Qualification and Experience
- Excellent knowledge of NDIS framework
- Minimum 2 years’ experience
- Working With Children Check
- Worker Screening Check
- Current Drivers License
- Right to work in Australia
