About the role We are looking for an experienced Service Desk Analyst/Technical Support officer to provide high quality on-site and remote technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to SVHA computer systems, hardware, software, printers, telephony, and infrastructure.

You’ll be responsible to delivers prompt and effective face-to-face or remote resolution to clients’ requirements through 2nd Level Technical Support for incoming incidents and service requests related to client’s computer systems, hardware, software, printers, telephony, and infrastructure. You will be required to travel to the facilities/sites to provide technical support and resolution of incidents and service.
 
About you

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • General troubleshooting of PCs, notebooks, desktop peripherals and mobile devices (Mobile phones and tablets) to resolve or engage warranty/replacement equipment back to the vendor.
  • Perform/provide department/managers, facility and Divisional Executives details of aged hardware and provide appropriate recommendations.
  • Administration of printing, faxing and software fax solutions. Perform on-site support when required.
  • Print Management administration of print servers that are not managed by a Third-Party vendor.
  • Create or modify existing MAC address reservations for printers. o Provide relevant information for firewall related issues to Network MSP (source and destination IP, traceroute, ipconfig, etc.)
  • Video Conferencing and A/V support including on-site assistance, and troubleshooting will be provided in a limited capacity.
  • Support Microsoft Teams clients and desktop peripherals (webcam, headset, microphone, etc.), and assist the internal D&T UC team with video conferencing troubleshooting, as required. o Maintaining cleanliness and organising the disposal of e-waste.

 
Requirements: 

  • 12 months proven experience as a Service Desk/Technical support  (or similar role). 
  • Based Brisbane , Sydney or Melbourne
  • Certificate IV in Information Technology Support or IT equivalent.
  • ITIL Certification (v3or v4)
  • MCSA Windows Server 2012+
  • MCSA Windows 10
  • CompTIA
  • Current Australian Driver’s License
