About the Role
We are looking for a proactive Service Desk Specialist to assist Bay with providing product support and defect resolutions to our clients. Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for customers’ daily enquiries, requests, enhancements, troubleshooting and defect resolution. You will be supported by colleagues and managers to deliver best practice outcomes to our valued customers.
Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include:
- Provide support to clients daily via phone, email, meetings and occasionally onsite
- Application testing during new release processes, troubleshooting and moving changes to production
- Develop reports and internal process documents
- Identify and contribute to future product enhancements based on customer needs
- Assess and redirect unresolved application issues to the engineering or professional services team
- Follow-up and keep issue status and their resolution updated in Autotask
Required Skills & Experience
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and keen to learn with a combination of qualifications and/or experience in information technology and customer service, including:
- Demonstrated problem solving /troubleshooting skills
- Experience in a customer service role using phone, email and Microsoft Teams
- Previous experience using AutoTask, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), SolarWinds n-Central, JIRA, Windows Servers & Operating Systems, Microsoft 365, or the ability to learn these systems quickly
- Excellent communication skills – both within a team environment and with customers
- Qualifications in Information Technology and/or equivalent experience
